随着中国加入了世贸组织,外商在华投资将掀起新的高潮,而西部地区在这次高潮中如何取得优势已成为关注的焦点。西部吸引外商直接投资,改善投资环境是重中之重,因为良好的投资环境是西部地区吸引国际投资的磁场,只有不断改善投资环境才能提高西部地区开放型经济的竞争力。因此我们有必要对西部投资环境现状进行分析,并提出相应的对策。一、对西部投资环境的分析 (一)、有利的投资环境 1、自然资源丰富这是西部投资环境中的一大优势。西部地区的草原面积占全国的94%,森林资源占全国的51%。煤炭资源占全国的50%。有色金属储量占全国的90%。
