平泉县国有黄土梁子林场始建于1954年,总经营面积22.1万亩,现有职工158人。44年来,经过几代林业职工的艰苦创业,全场有林面积发展到20.1万亩,活立木蓄积达到44.1万立方米,森林覆盖率由建场初期1.5%提高到76.2%。作为全国林业发展的老典型,黄土梁子林场曾先后60余次受到国家、省、市、县的表彰和奖励。是林业部命名的全国护林防火、企业整顿和全国国营林场先进单位,被省政府命名为全省绿化先进单位。
Pingquan County, the state-owned loess Liangzi Forest Farm was founded in 1954, the total operating area of 221,000 mu, the existing staff of 158 people. Over the past 44 years, after several generations of forestry workers’ arduous pioneering work, the total area of afforestation has grown to 201,000 mu and the living stock has reached 441,000 cubic meters. The forest coverage rate has risen from 1.5% in the early days of the site to 76.2%. As the old typical of the national forestry development, the loess-Liangzi Forest Farm has been praised and rewarded by the state, province, city and county for more than 60 times. It is an advanced unit named by the Ministry of Forestry as a national unit for forest fire prevention, enterprise reorganization and the national state-owned forest farms. It was named as the advanced afforestation unit in the province by the provincial government.
