本文论述了土壤中测镭的找铀方法。该法的实质是:将土壤样品在水中浸泡一定的时间,然后通过分析水中氡的方法来测定镭。此种方法比放射性测量方法的探测深度至少要深数呎。本文提供了在萨斯喀彻温铀城附近的某些矿点上测量的野外实例,在这些实例中对土壤中测镭、闪烁测量和射气测量结果进行了比较。土壤中测镭法的优点是:可以在测量地点获得结果,设备简单,而且结果具有重复性。
This article discusses the method of finding uranium for measuring radium in soil. The essence of the law is that soil samples are soaked in water for a certain period of time, and then radium is determined by a method of analyzing radon in water. This method is at least a few feet deeper than the detection depth of the radiometric method. This article provides field examples measured at some sites near the Saskatchewan Uranium City, in which the radiometric, scintigraphic, and radiometric measurements of soil were compared. The advantages of radium detection in soil are: the results can be obtained at the measurement site, the equipment is simple, and the results are reproducible.
