擒拿格斗是警体技术与理论实践相结合而产生的一门战术,是指导与敌博斗的技击原则,是克敌制胜的有力武器,它不是一种技击动作的简单形式,而是根据与敌格斗的实际情况,灵活运用格斗技术去有效打击罪犯的方法和手段。在与敌格斗的实践中,单靠技术、体力是难于战胜罪犯的,还必须根据敌我的具体情况,结合格斗实际,灵活机动地运用技击战术,以达到制服罪犯的目的。目前公安院校警体教学与公安实际相脱离,在校期间对学生的身体素质、格斗技术练习的多,而步入社会后,对在实际工作中所发生的各种不同情况掌握较少,我们必须针对工作中所发生的实际问题,在警体课教学中多采用模拟法和临敌战术的教学,以培养学生在实际工作中的擒敌能力。
