江苏省在历史上一向以长江为界,江南部分称苏南,江北部分称苏北。抗战期间,新四军坚决执行中共中央“东进北上”的指示,1938年部队在皖南集结的同时,即东进苏南创建了苏南抗日根据地,随后于1940年成立苏北指挥部,从苏南渡江北上开辟苏北抗日根据地。1941年“皖南事变”后,为适应对敌斗争需要,苏北划为苏中、苏北两大战略区。本文所述“苏北指挥部”活动地区,均为苏中根据地范围。
Jiangsu Province has always been in the history of the Yangtze River as the boundary, southern part of southern Jiangsu, northern part of northern Jiangsu. During the war of resistance against Japan, the New Fourth Army resolutely implemented the instructions of the CPC Central Committee “going northward”. When the troops assembled in southern Anhui in 1938, the southern Jiangsu anti-Japanese base was established in the east and the south Jiangsu headquarters was established in 1940. From then on, Sunan over the north to open up the northern Jiangsu anti-Japanese base. After the incident of “South Anhui Incident” in 1941, in order to meet the need of struggles against the enemy, North Jiangsu is divided into two strategic areas: the Soviet Union and North Jiangsu. This article describes “North Jiangsu Command ” area of activity, are in the Soviet Union in the base area.
