In the literature, we review the extraction of platinum group elements from oxygen containing, sulfur, phosphorus and nitrogenous extractants published between 1969 and 1975. This article describes the bidentate and multi-complexing extractants. Bidentate and polyplexed extractants often form closed-chain complexes with the metal to be extracted, although in some cases they may also participate in the reaction as a single complex extractant. First we will introduce the extractant containing two oxygen atoms and the extractant containing oxygen, sulfur and two sulfur atoms of electronic nature. The literature studied the extraction of platinum and iridium complexes by acetylacetone. The study determined that the acetylacetone complex of iridium can be formed only under the condition of pH 3 ~ 6 under heating, the extraction rate is 80 ~ 60%. When iridium is extracted, the chloride media is superior to the sulfate media; however, for the extraction of platinum, these two media
