既传授知识,又培养能力,这已是人们公认的一条教学基本原则。在小学阶段,通过几何知识的教学,使学生建立起初步的空间观念,是数学教学在培养学生能力方面应担负的任务之一。 所谓空间观念,就是指物体的大小、形状、方位、距离等空间特性在人的头脑中留下的表象。形成正确的空间观念,对于学生以后的发展,特别是对于积累知识和加深基础科学知识的修养,具有重要意义,是不可忽视的。为了培养学生的空间观念,对小学几何教学进行改革是十分必要的。
It is a well-established teaching principle that not only impart knowledge but also develop ability. In the elementary school stage, through the teaching of geometric knowledge, the students establish the initial space concept, which is one of the tasks which mathematics teaching should shoulder in cultivating students' abilities. The so-called space concept, refers to the object's size, shape, orientation, distance and other spatial characteristics left in the minds of people's appearance. The formation of a correct concept of space is of great importance to the future development of students, especially for the accumulation of knowledge and deepening of the knowledge of basic sciences, which can not be ignored. In order to cultivate students' concept of space, it is necessary to reform the geometric teaching of primary school.
