夏季,汽车在南方行驶时,常常发生气阻(不来油)现象,严重时往往会影响汽车的行驶.为了研究如何解决发动机气阻问题,由北京汽车附件研究设计室、上海第一汽车附件厂、长沙汽车电器研究所等三单位共同组成了电动汽油泵联合设计试验小组,并已试制出薄膜式和柱塞式二种电磁式电动汽油泵样品.通过台架试验,并在红旗、BJ—212及解放牌汽车上进行了道路试验,证明试制之样品能在环境温度为+70℃在各种负荷及不同路面上正常行驶;样品性能良好.又在台架上对两种汽油泵进行了对比试验.同样采用12伏电压,吸油和输油高度均为0.5米时,薄膜式电动油泵的输油量为106公升/小时;柱塞式为90公升/小时.两种油泵的最低起动电压均为8伏,柱塞式的封闭压力较高,可达300毫米——水银柱;薄膜式的只能达到160毫米——水银柱.在红旗发动机上,两种油泵均能获得最大功率.
