钾镁煌斑岩产在黔东南和大洪山区 ,副钾镁煌岩散布于华南陆块西半部 .贵州马坪金伯利岩为基性岩 .虽然含矿金伯利岩和钾镁煌斑岩皆产在克拉通区 ,但其地球化学表现出板块俯冲碰撞后岩浆活动特征 .这些含金刚石富钾超镁铁岩岩浆可能由于来自核幔边界的热柱活动在地幔过渡带里古背板消亡的局部地段生成 .基性的金伯利岩岩浆易于保存Ⅱ型金刚石 .
