《宠儿》是首位黑人女性诺贝尔文学奖获得者托尼·莫里森在1987年发表的一篇惊世之作。它深刻揭示了蓄奴制对黑人女性肉体、情感等方面的多重折磨。小说问世后,在美国引起了强烈震动,特别是文学界,更是掀起了研究、评论这部小说的热潮。当然,不同的文学流派有着各自不同的欣赏视角。其中,生态女性主义文学理论让人们对《宠儿》有了全新的理解。本文就是运用生态女性主义来解读《宠儿》,希望能够帮助读者看清文中女性、种族与自然的关系,从而深入理解这部伟大的作品。
Beloved was a stunning novel by Tony Morrison, the first black female Nobel prize winner, in 1987. It profoundly reveals the multiple torture of slavery on the physical and emotional aspects of black women. After the advent of the novel, the United States caused a strong shock, especially the literary world, but also set off a study, comment on the novel craze. Of course, different literary genres have their own different perspectives of appreciation. Among them, the ecofeminist literary theory has given people a new understanding of “darling”. This article is to use ecofeminism to interpret “darling”, hoping to help readers to understand the relationship between women, race and nature in this paper so as to gain a deeper understanding of this great work.
