1928年2月26日,顾颉刚给燕京大学史学系的容庚写信,提出了七项要求:(一)不引进政客,免致机关本身受政治摇撼。(二)不引进复古派,免致学术不能照了轨道走。(三)不引进学阀,免致学术机关为其私人垄断,且为排击敌派之根据地。(四)不引进文人,免致机关腐化,致同事不勤业务。(五)不引进平庸人,免致发表刊物为讲义式之文字。(六)不引进头脑不清之人,免闹意见。(七)不引进爱发议论而不负责任之
On February 26, 1928, Gu Jiegang wrote a letter to Ronggeng, a professor of history at Yenching University, and put forward seven requirements: (1) Do not introduce politicians and prevent the organs themselves from being shook by politics.
