古流分析是通过对沉积物某些结构和构造的测量,经过统计来推断水流、风向、古冰川的一种定向分析方法。在沉积相研究过程中,古流分析是一种重要的研究方法,它可以根据大量的测量数据,提供一种半定量标志,因而受到地质学者的重视。古流分析包括四个步骤: 1.野外测定特殊的沉积构造和结构; 2.每一测量点占流方向的校正及统计分析; 3.绘制古流图; 4.利用古流图并结合其它相分析资料,推断古流向、古地形及古坡度。
The ancient flow analysis is a measure of the structure and structure of sediments through statistics to infer water flow, wind direction, a directional analysis of ancient glaciers.
