巩义市大峪沟镇乔沟供水站自1992年10月建成以来,已供水72万吨,总收入71万元,提取折旧费14万元,实现利润2万元。解决3万余人吃水和30多个乡村企业的用水问题,走出了一条“以水养站”的路子。近2年来,这个工程发挥了良好的经济效益和社会效益,仅减少拉水一项每年就可节约4.5万个劳动力,节约运水费540万元。它的建成运用,也为全镇经济发展提供了有利条件,1993年全镇社会总产值4.6亿元,比1992年翻了一番。征收水费是办好供水站的必要措施,他们坚持及时合理地征收水费,制定合理的收费标准。群众生活用水每吨1元,企业用水1.4元,比拉水降低10
