Iris, as an ornamental plant, has a history of 3,500 years. In Egypt, the stone of iris engraved on the building foundation of 1500 BC in ancient Greece was a symbol of majesty and might. The earliest written account of China was the Shennong Herbal Classic, which was made into a book in the Warring States Period. The book lists iris and Iris. Iris is about 300 species of plants, nearly 20,000 varieties. Common aquatic iris flowers iris, swallow flowers, yellow iris and so on. However, there are several common shortcomings associated with these irises, which are wetland environments: they withered in the winter in the southern part of the Yangtze River. After nearly seven years of introduction and domestication, the horticultural center of Suzhou Polytechnic has finally realized the desire of aquatic plants in the southern part of the Yangtze River. Among them, Louis Iris is representative. Its introduction has changed the winter ornamental effect of aquatic plants in landscaping and can also be used as yard planting.
