1 Preface The mechanism of landslide occurrence and its mechanical process are one of the major topics in landslide disaster research. Domestic and foreign scholars put forward their own views from different angles. Anderson and Sitar [3] based on soil stress path test results suggest that the mechanism of formation includes dilatancy initiation under drainage conditions and subsequent undrained loading.
