SPF对虾种群选育的技术要点,是根据不同的生活期采用不同容量的水槽或水池及不同的放养密度对各家系隔离;建立特定病原检疫技术,在养成和孵化前定时进行严格的病原测试,用以监测对虾养成和成熟过程中的SPF状态。SPF对虾的主要贡献是在人工控制条件下稳定保持一个或几个具有遗传多样性的无特定病原的对虾种群,向对虾养殖企业提供SPF亲虾和SPF苗种或高健康苗种。
