中国石化总公司自1983年成立以来,已走过了八年多的历程,在党中央、国务院的领导下,在各部门、各地方的支持下,全体职工发扬“爱我中华,振兴石化”的精神,积极努力,顽强拼搏,使我国石油化工迅速发展。四大乙烯装置相继建成,形成了规模;一大批炼油、化肥、化纤装置也陆续投产。到1990年底,总公司固定资产已发展到607亿元,拥有各类生产装置994套,设备总数达100万台,原油加工能力达1.31亿吨,二次加工能力近6000万吨,乙烯生产能力达182万吨。
Since its establishment in 1983, Sinopec Corp. has gone through more than eight years of development. Under the leadership of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, with the support of various departments and localities, all employees carry forward “Love China and Revitalize Petrochemicals”. The spirit, active efforts, tenacious struggle, so that the rapid development of China’s petrochemical industry. Four large ethylene plants have been built one after another, forming a scale; a large number of refineries, chemical fertilizers, and chemical fiber equipment have also been put into production. By the end of 1990, the head office’s fixed assets had grown to 60.7 billion yuan, with 994 sets of various production facilities, a total of 1 million sets of equipment, a crude oil processing capacity of 131 million tons, a secondary processing capacity of nearly 60 million tons, and an ethylene production capacity. It reached 182 million tons.
