The symposium was jointly organized by the Quaternary Glaciology and Quaternary Geology Committee of the Chinese Geological Society and the Jiangsu Geological Society and held in Nanjing in December last year. 102 representatives from 70 units attended the meeting. The conference received 188 papers and abstracts. The paper fully reflects the main achievements of Quaternary glaciers and Quaternary Geology in China
