知识经济、信息化、全球化社会的到来与发展,使英语的世界通用语言地位渐次得以确立。随着我国加入WTO,奥运的逼近,对英语教育,特别是英语口语交际能力的培养,提出了前所未有的挑战。本文利用口语交际能力的已有研究成果,结合高职英语教学中的具体目标,分析影响高职学生英语口语交际能力的因素,并根据口语交际的特征,针对性地提出一些教学策略和教学模式,以期从整体上提高学生运用恰当的语言进行得体的交际的能力。
With the advent and development of the knowledge economy, informatization, and a globalized society, the universal language status of the English language has gradually been established. As China’s accession to the WTO, the Olympic Games approached, it poses an unprecedented challenge to English education, especially the cultivation of spoken English communication skills. This article makes use of the existing research results of oral communication ability, combines the specific goals in higher vocational English teaching, analyzes the factors that affect vocational students’ oral communication competence, and proposes some teaching strategies and teaching models according to the characteristics of oral communication. In order to improve the students’ ability to communicate properly using appropriate language.
