From the beginning of this issue, “World of Paintings and Calligraphy” will be held from time to time “teacher interviews ” section. This column will cover the most important topics in the field, from the perspective of academia and from the selection of contemporary teachers who have been thinking hard, enterprising and achieving extraordinary accomplishments in order to show that they are overly different from reality through the chaotic and lively painting and calligraphy phenomenon. , This kind of thinking will not only be based on the continuity of the history of the development of calligraphy and painting, but also have the relevance to the reality and the forward-looking future. This issue is an interview with Mr. Wang Yuechuan, a famous scholar and deputy director of the Institute of Calligraphy, Peking University. The interview focused on his multi-dimensional thinking on “Cultural Calligraphy ” in recent years as a scholar. Such thinking is not only a program for running a school and an academic research purpose for the Beida Dictionaries, but also different from the current emphasis on the art of calligraphy The aesthetic orientation of cultural accomplishment indicates the cultural trend of multicultural international society in the eyes of scholars as well as the aesthetic ideal of Chinese calligraphy and the possibility of future development.
