Objective To study the radiation effect of lymphocyte subsets and the adaptive response to low dose radiation. Methods Monoclonal antibodies were used to isolate and identify lymphocyte subsets. ConA was used to activate lymphocytes. 3H-TdR incorporation assay showed that DNA synthesis was activated by lymphocytes or that subsets in peripheral blood were analyzed by flow cytometry Percentage change. Results The same dose of irradiation, CD8 cells than CD4 cells by radiation damage more pronounced. In quantitative terms, the relative percentage of CD4 cells is more pronounced. The percentage of B cells decreased significantly. Pretreated with 4.8 cGy irradiation and then challenged with irradiation dose, the percentage of CD4 cells increased compared with that of the simple dose group. CD8 cells showed an increasing tendency. Conclusion B cells are most sensitive to radiation, followed by CD8, while CD4 cells have the lowest sensitivity and the strongest adaptive response.
