China plans to introduce a series of mea-sures this year to expand the use of for-eign investment in order to offset reper-cussions of the Asian financial crisis,ac-cording to a China Daily report.Policies concerning overseas investmentwill remain basically unchanged becauseof uncertainties in the international environ-ment.China will focus on the use of foreign di-rect investment,according to officials withthe Ministry of Foreign Trade and Econom-ic Cooperation(Moflec).
