One of the differences between the nine-year compulsory education junior middle school geography teaching materials and the past teaching materials is that a large number of “thinking ”, “doing ”,“reading” have been added to the text. The columns, which are rich in content and closely linked to the texts, are of great help to teachers’ teaching and student learning, and they are loved by teachers and students. Through more than two years of teaching practice, we talked about how to apply and deal with these three categories of topics and practices. 1. Dealing with “Thinking of” columns “Thinking ” helps in teacher teaching and student learning in three columns because it requires students to divide the knowledge system they have learned.
