标准物质的研制对候选物的适应性、代表性、易复制性及候选物基体应和使用的要求相一致或尽可能接近等都有具体要求。通过对湖北、湖南、贵州3省5个黑色岩系(石煤)钒矿区矿石标本的岩矿鉴定,综合测试样品的X衍射测定、X荧光光谱测定、钒的价态测定、钒的物相测定等以及对比研究,查明了黑色岩系(石煤)钒矿的结构和构造特征、矿物组分和矿床共性,为黑色岩系(石煤)钒矿标准物质研制候选物矿床的选定提供了依据。最终确定了4处黑色岩系(石煤)钒矿标准物质候选物矿床,并分别从选定矿床的多个剖面采集了不同类型的矿石,按照一个矿区制备一个样品的原则,开展了对该系列标准物质的采集与制备。
