“民主革命”一词内涵丰富,并非仅指资产阶级民主革命,事实上它是近代中国革命的一个发展阶段,这一阶段既包括旧民主主义革命,也包括新民主主义革命。民主革命的“双重任务”是指反帝国主义、反封建社会和建立独立、自主、富强的新中国,并非仅是反帝国主义、反封建社会这一重任务。
The term “democratic revolution” is rich in content and does not refer only to the bourgeois-democratic revolution. In fact, it is a stage of development of the modern Chinese revolution, which includes both the old democratic revolution and the new-democratic revolution. The “dual mission” of the democratic revolution refers to the anti-imperialism and anti-feudal society and the establishment of an independent, autonomous and prosperous New China. It is not merely an anti-imperialist and anti-feudal society that is a heavy task.
