OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of injury on the proliferation of adult animal skeletal muscle satellite cells in order to obtain gene therapy autologous transplantation vector. Methods: Plasmid pRSVLaxZ or pRchTH was transfected into myoblasts by cationic liposome-mediated method. RESULTS: After skeletal muscle injury, the numbers of free myoblasts of muscle satellite cells and tissue blocks were significantly increased. The exogenous genes could be expressed in the cells.
