我蔡玉水,6岁习画,18岁大学读书,22岁高校任教,32岁漂泊海外,40岁成为北京画院专职画师。40多年来,学着用绘画的方式说话,用艺术的眼光观察生活,用不停地探索与创造认识世界,用不断地追求与超越认识自我。我眷恋家园、热爱故土,用最真挚的情感、满腔的热忱表达着自己对人类世界最深沉的爱恋。我追求平凡人生,向往平淡的生活,却又是一个视艺术如生命、为了艺术可以放弃一切的人。我,又是幸福的,因为无论何时绘画都从没离弃过我……
