北京粉末冶金研究所和江汉石油管理局牙轮钻头实验工厂联合组成的金刚石取心钻头试制、试验小组,继1972年试制、试验成功七只孕镶式人造金刚石取心钻头之后,1975年又共同试制了两种不同胎体配方、高温固化、有机粘结的人造金刚石取心钻头。通过试验,使我们对孕镶式人造金刚石取心钻头的制造工艺及结构的合理性有了进一步的认识:孕镶式人造金刚石取心钻头制造工艺简单,用于江汉地区2000米以下胶结致密、研磨性强的灰质砂岩地层中取心钻进,钻头耐磨性好,进尺指标高,取心率高,大大减少了起下钻的次数。
