采用放射免疫方法，对４９例病毒性心肌炎患儿及３８例正常儿童测定血浆内皮素浓度。结果，患儿组血浆内皮素水平显著高于正常对照组（Ｐ＜０．０５）；经治疗好转后血浆内皮素明显下降，提示血浆内皮素参与小儿病毒性心肌炎的病理生理过程；７例伴有急性心力衰竭患儿其血浆内皮素水平明显高于未伴有心衰者，提示血浆内皮素浓度与病情的严重度相平行。观察表明，血浆内皮素水平可作为临床判断病情危重的一项指标。
Radioimmunoassay was used to determine plasma endothelin concentrations in 49 children with viral myocarditis and 38 normal children. Results The level of plasma endothelin in children was significantly higher than that in normal control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the plasma endothelin was significantly decreased, which suggested that plasma endothelin was involved in the pathophysiological process of viral myocarditis in children. Children with acute heart failure plasma endothelin levels were significantly higher than those without heart failure, suggesting that plasma endothelin concentrations parallel with the severity of the disease. Observations show that plasma endothelin levels can be used as an indicator of critical illness in clinical judgment.
