Through interviews with 20 male workers engaged in the traditional women’s work category, this study explores their self-identification, individual adaptation and coping strategies as they span the traditional concept of gender work. The study finds that under the influence of the socialization of traditional culture, there is still strong gender identity and gender expectation in the labor market in Chinese society today. Western scholars said that the phenomenon of “glass escalator” did not obviously appear in the male-female job interviewed; the systematic concept of gender had a certain impact on the number of male-to-female job workers who entered the traditional female labor market Role, and the promotion of some workers have an inhibitory effect. Workers in different occupations often adopt different coping strategies and responses to transform their personal stress in the workplace and thereby reconstruct their social relationships in the workplace.
