意大利的吉乌利沃(C.Giulivo),以Andross桃品种12年生值株为试材,当其果实直径长到28mm时喷布乙烯利。结果果实生长减缓,脱落增加。果实脱落百分率对照为48.5%,处理植株为83.2%。乙烯利处理不会影响果实的脱落酸含量,而会引起对香豆酸含量的陡然增加。由于一个果实是生长还是脱落与其对香豆酸含量有关,因而提出乙烯利是通过对香豆酸影响果实的生长和脱落,该酸为萘乙酸氧化酶的辅助因素。
C. Giulivo of Italy, using the 12-year-old value tree of the Andross peach variety as a test material, ethephon was sprayed when its fruit diameter was 28 mm in diameter. The results of fruit growth slowed down, shedding increased. The percentage of fruit peeled off was 48.5% and that of treated plants was 83.2%. Ethephon does not affect the amount of abscisic acid in the fruit but causes a sharp increase in the amount of coumaric acid. Since a fruit is growing or shedding is related to its content of coumaric acid, it is proposed that ethephon may act as a cofactor for the naphthaleneacetic acid oxidase by affecting its growth and detachment.
