本文初步提出了计算机局部网络的控制结构概念和位长度系列概念。认为控制结构和拓扑结构是局部网络结构中两个逻辑上平行的子结构。位长度系列概念刻划了网络有效通信、无效通信、视在通信等过程和通信效率。利用该概念中的位长度因素及系统分解的方法,本文推导了令牌总线、令牌环的简单可比性能模型。模型表明,在大多数场合,令牌环数据吞吐能力高于令牌总线。 本文还推导丁环和总线拓扑的平均传输延迟的计算公式。
This paper initially put forward a series of concepts of control structure and bit length of computer local network. It is considered that the control structure and the topological structure are two logically parallel substructures in the local network structure. Bit length series of concepts depict the network effective communication, invalid communication, apparent communication process and communication efficiency. By using the bit length factor in the concept and the method of system decomposition, this paper deduces the simple comparable performance model of token bus and token ring. The model shows that in most cases, token ring data throughput than token bus. This article also deduces the formulas for calculating the average propagation delay for the ring and bus topologies.
