数学实践活动课程不同于一般的课堂教学,它将教学的主战场从教室转向课堂之外的日常生活和社会活动,教学的主体也从教师转向学生自己,教学的内容不再只是课堂里的学科数学知识而是实践活动中的生活数学知识。数学实践课对学生学习的主体性和积极性要求非常高,要求是在教师的指导下,学生自己独自或者以小组为单位开展数学实践活动,在生活中运用课堂所学的数学知识去解决问题,将理论知识与实践活动结合起来,使数学真正成为一门有用的学科。
