世界各地都有领导,领导是一种普世现象。但不同文化下,领导的风格、内涵以及所产生的效能是不同的。一个美国领导和一个日本领导面对员工时,领导方法就不同,这主要是因为文化背景相异,领导风格必需反映文化价值。解释领导行为与效能的理论众多,常见的有魅力领导、转型领导、授权领导、情境化领导等等。然而这些领导理论大多孕育于北美或西欧文化。那么中国是否有孕育于其传统文化土壤而适用于今日社会的领导理论呢?我很高兴告诉大家,
Leadership and leadership around the world are a universal phenomenon. However, under different cultures, the style, connotation and effectiveness of leadership are different. When a U.S. leader and a Japanese leader face employees, the methods of leadership are different. This is mainly because cultural backgrounds are different and leadership style must reflect cultural values. There are many theories that explain leadership behavior and effectiveness, common charismatic leadership, transformation leadership, empowerment leadership, contextualized leadership and so on. However, most of these leadership theories are nurtured in North American or Western European cultures.
