随着中外文学的不断交流和发展,人们对小说的研究越来越普遍。《围城》作为钱钟书先生所著的经典小说,在我国现代文学史上一直为人们所津津乐道。因此,对于这篇经典著作所蕴涵的文化意象以及对其翻译的研究也被人们所关注。本文主要阐述了小说《围城》中所存在的大量有关文化负载词现象,对其所蕴涵的文化意象进行分析,从而提出针对小说《围城》应采用的翻译策略,指出译者在对《围城》进行翻译时,应尽可能地保留和传达原著小说中所蕴涵的文化意象。
With the continuous exchange and development of Chinese and foreign literature, people are more and more familiar with the study of novels. As a classic novels by Mr. Qian Zhongshu, “Fortress Besieged” has been remembered by people in the history of modern Chinese literature. Therefore, people pay more attention to the cultural images and the translation of this classic work. This paper mainly elaborates a large number of phenomena about culturally loaded words in the novel “Besieged City” and analyzes the cultural images implied by them, and then puts forward the translation strategies that should be adopted in the novel “Besieged City” When translating, we should try our best to retain and convey the cultural images implied in the original novels.
