金属回收工作者,应积极学习金属回收应具备的科学技术知识。众所周知,废钢铁的回收来自千家万户的工矿企业,回收后可按大中小尺寸及形状进行分选、加工、供应利用;但对于回收的废钢铁应具备的技术知识,确知道不多。废钢铁的基本知识主要来源于金属材料知识,耗用什么金属材料,就产生什么金属废料。比如钢材除有工、槽、角、圆、方、扁、带、管、板等不同规格尺寸的知识外,更为重要的是钢种钢号化学成分及用途的基本知识,如企业生产金属制品,用什么钢种钢号的金属材料,可回收什么钢号的废钢,有了这些基本知识才能真正做好金属回收利用工作。为金属回收业务学习需要;1983年《金属回收》第二期已介绍了我国的钢种钢号,在本刊第五期介绍普通碳素钢、低合结构钢、优质碳素结构钢、合金结构钢的部分钢号的主要特性及用途举例。第六期继续介绍弹簧钢、轴承钢、碳素工具钢、合金工具钢、模具钢、高速工具钢、耐热钢、不锈耐酸钢等部分钢号的主要特性及用途举例。以下是本期介绍的钢种钢号的主要特性及用途举例,供学习基本知识参用。(正文见下页)
