2001年3月1日,山西电视台卫星频道推出了经过重新定位、整合、编排、包装的新版节目,这是继1998年山西电视台节目上星以来进行的最大规模的节目改版,也是山西电视台在江总书记“三个代表”和“三个创新”理论指导下,分析了新世纪山西电视台面临的生存环境和发展机遇,提出并实践“有所为,有所不为”的战略构想和“把握导向,构建精品战略;创新格局,促进事业发展”的工作思路的重大举措,这对于树立山西电视台卫星频道新形象,促进山西电视事业大发展,具有十分重要的意义。
