核转录因子(nuclear factorκb,NF-κB)是公认的炎症和免疫反应的调节因子,与糖尿病肾病的发生发展密切相关。小泛素相关修饰物(small ubiquitin-related modifier,sumo)参与了NF-κB信号通路的调控,NF-κB抑制蛋白(inhibitor ofnf-κB,IκB)等NF-κB通路中重要的蛋白因子均可被小泛素相关修饰物修饰,进而调控NF-κB信号通路。sumo化修饰酶在该调控中发挥极其重要的作用,其中sumo结合酶E2(即ubc9蛋白)和sumo连接酶E3成员之一的信号转导和转录激活子(signal transducer and activator of transcription,STAT)抑制蛋白(protein inhibitor of activated STAT,PIAS)家族是近年来的研究热点。文中综述sumo化、sumo化修饰酶及其对糖尿病肾病NF-κb信号通路的调控作用。
