彭雪枫同志是我党的一位智勇双全与英明能干的军事家和政治家。他1925年投身革命,1944年9月11日壮烈殉国,二十年如一日,对党忠贞,为民赴汤蹈火,曾被毛泽东主席、朱德总司令誉为“共产党人的好榜样”。1938年到1940年,我曾和雪枫同志一起战斗、工作了两年零六个月。他艰苦奋斗、廉洁奉公、办事认真的优良作风,英勇作战、英明果断与坚毅不拔的革命魄力,虚怀若谷、从善如流、爱护官兵、待人赤诚的高尚品德,给我留下了不可磨灭的印象。 Comrade Peng Xuefeng is a wise and courageous military and politician of our party. He devoted himself to the revolution in 1925 and died in martyrdom on September 11, 1944. In 20 years, he loyal to the party and went to the best for his people. He was praised by Chairman Mao Zedong and Commander Chu as a “good example for the Communists.” From 1938 to 1940, I fought with Comrade Xue Feng and worked for two years and six months.
