浙江省嘉兴市,地处长江三角洲杭嘉湖北部,为典型的水网平原。土壤以水稻土为主,其成土母质深受湖、河、江、海的水力搬运和沉积环境的影响,不易严格划分,只能笼统地分为冲积物、湖积物和海积物,显然缺乏数值依据。本文借助地质沉积学中矩法计算粒径参数方法,并对有关资料进行聚类分析处理,同时参照浙农大土化系对具有代表性土壤的微体古生物分析和孢粉分析资料(省地质研究所鉴定),试图对嘉兴水网平原母质类型作一划分。
