不锈钢采用氧-乙炔火焰连续切割时,由于切口表面生成高熔点的氧化铬阻止了碳的氧化和铁的燃烧,所以不能连续切割。因此,大量加工不锈钢时,一般都采用等离子切割或空气碳弧切割。然而在少量加工不锈钢时,采用氧-乙炔火焰切割是简易可行的。我厂不锈钢工件下料没有专用设备,是先在切割线上钻一些孔,然后再用不锈钢焊条切割。这种方法劳动强度大,浪费也大,加工速度又慢。于是我们采用氧-乙炔火焰,分别切割厚度为3.5、14和22毫米的不锈钢板。
