About 85% of primary thyroid gland hyperthyroidism is caused by thyroid gland adenocarcinoma, 1% is adenocarcinoma, and the rest is parathyroid hyperplasia. A total of 22 cases of primary parathyroid gland hyperplasia have been treated in our hospital since 1983.
