1948年2月1日,甘地被刺身亡后第三天,胡适在接受民国著名报纸《申报》采访时,对甘地及甘地精神作了评价。本文试图对这一评价进行分析,进而从一个侧面反映胡适对甘地精神及自由民主精神的认识。
On the third day after Gandhi ’s assassination on February 1, 1948, Hu Shih made a comment on the spirit of Gandhi and Gandhi when interviewed by the “Newspaper” of the famous newspaper of the Republic of China. This article attempts to analyze this evaluation and then reflect Hu Shih’s understanding of Gandhian spirit and freedom and democracy from one aspect.
