This paper describes the design, principles, and operation of the ITHAC-02 Melting Process (NCF) using nitrogen as a carrier gas, including the operating methods required to obtain comparable accuracy to vacuum thermal pumping. This method of analysis is not only suitable for high zinc or high magnesium aluminum alloy, but also fully suitable for the analysis of pure aluminum.
