3月4日至7日,中国科学技术期刊编辑学会成立暨第一届会员代表大会在首都北京隆重召开。来自全国各地的188名代表,以及有关部门的领导,首都科技界、新闻出版界人士出席了会议。 我国的科学技术期刊已有上百年的历史,而成立专门学会,把科学技术期刊编辑工作作为一门科学来研究,这还是第一次。科学技术期剥是记录和传播科技信息的载体。随着社会主义现代化建设事业的发展,科学研究和经济建设对科学技术期刊的需求达到了前所未有的迫切程度。目前,我国公开发行的科技期刊已达2400多种,编辑人员达15000人。国家科委副主任朱丽兰同志在会上说:“编辑是默默无闻的真正英雄。学会的成立将确利于造就更多
