About the Author Ernest Hemingway (1899 ~ 1961), American novelist and journalist, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954 and one of the most famous writers of the 20th century is the soul of the “lost generation” People, well known to Chinese readers. Hemingway was born in Oak Park, Illinois on the outskirts of Chicago. His father was a physician and his mother was a musician. He studied fishing, fishing and camping with his father since childhood, which nurtured his adventurous spirit and love of nature. During his high school, he actively participated in sports such as boxing, athletics, water polo and soccer.
