本刊讯“十五”期间交通事业保持了快速发展的好势头,全社会累计完成交通建设投资21957亿元,年均增长18.7%,是“九五”期间完成投资的1.92倍。到2006年底,全国公路通车总里程达348万公里,高速公路达4.54万公里。沿海港口新扩建泊位252个,其中万吨级深水泊位144个,新增吞吐能力4.95亿吨。内河港口新增吞吐能力6720万吨,改善内河航道里程521公里。
During the period of the Tenth Five-Year Plan, the transport industry maintained its rapid development momentum. The total social investment in transportation construction totaled 2.197 trillion yuan, an average annual increase of 18.7%, which was 1.92 times of the investment completed during the Ninth Five-year Plan period. By the end of 2006, the total length of highway opened to traffic reached 3.48 million kilometers and the number of highways reached 45,400 kilometers. There are 252 berths newly expanded along the coastal ports, of which 144 are 10,000-ton deep-water berths, with an additional throughput of 495 million tons. The inland river ports will increase throughput by 67.2 million tons and improve inland waterway mileage by 521 kilometers.
