大卫·林奇极为重视电影语境的表达效果。在大部分导演的作品中,创作者和观众已经默认其叙述语境是固定的、单一的,而林奇电影中则多次出现语境的切换,甚至刻意忽略此语境与彼语境之间的时空关系和叙事的连续性,并在一语境之中反复利用细节给观众以心理暗示,这正是林奇电影总能反复给观众造成诡异、神秘甚至恐怖的原因。文章从超现实主义语境、梦幻语境、精神分裂与潜意识语境三方面,分析林奇电影的叙事语境。
