熊佛西先生的四幕話剧《上海滩上的春天》写于1956年,写成后在上海演出七十多場,深受一部分資产阶级的“赞揚”,被誉为“真实地”反映民族資产阶级的情况的“好剧本”;但是,当时就有不少人(包括一部分资产阶級中的先进分子)认为該剧美化了资产阶級,是个坏剧本。現在重讀这个剧本,感到后一种意見是正确的。《上海滩上的春天》是写資本主义工商业社会主义改造問题的。这个題材本来是很好的,我国民族資产阶級的社会主义改造是具有世界意义的,若写得好,可以体現出党对民族資产阶級的和平改造政策的正确、伟大。可是,熊佛西先生写的《上海滩上的春天》不是歌頌党的和平改造政策的胜
Mr. Xiong Fuxi’s four acts “Spring on the Beach” was written in 1956, and after his performance in Shanghai, he performed more than 70 performances and was praised by some of the bourgeoisie as “truly” reflecting the nationality Bourgeois situation; however, quite a few people (including some of the advanced elements in the bourgeoisie) at the time believed that the play had beautified the bourgeoisie and was a bad script. Now reread this script, feel the latter opinion is correct. “Spring on the beach” is the issue of socialist capitalist industrial and commercial reforms. This theme would have been very good. The socialist transformation of the national bourgeoisie in our country is world-wide. If well written, it reflects the correctness and greatness of the party’s policy of peaceful reconstruction of the national bourgeoisie. However, “the spring on the beach” written by Mr. Xiong Fusi is not the victory of the Party’s policy of peaceful reformation
