通过搅拌摩擦加工技术将SiC颗粒加入到A356铝合金中制备铝基复合材料,搅拌摩擦加工参数为:旋转速度1800r/min和行进速度127mm/min。基体金属A356铝合金为亚共晶AlSi枝晶组织,而搅拌区的组织与基体金属区不同。共晶Si和SiC颗粒均匀分布于初始铝固溶体中,而经历了剧烈变形的热力影响区的共晶Si和SiC颗粒呈沿旋转方向分散的特征。搅拌区的硬度比基体金属的高,因为在搅拌区存在的缺陷明显减少,共晶Si和SiC均匀分布在其中。
SiC particles were added into A356 aluminum alloy by friction stir processing to prepare aluminum matrix composite. The parameters of friction stir processing were: rotation speed 1800r / min and travel speed 127mm / min. The base metal A356 aluminum alloy is a hypoeutectic AlSi dendritic structure, whereas the stirring zone has a different organization from the base metal zone. The eutectic Si and SiC particles are uniformly distributed in the initial aluminum solid solution, while the eutectic Si and SiC particles in the heat affected zone subjected to the severe deformation are dispersed in the rotational direction. The hardness of the stir zone is higher than that of the base metal because the defects present in the stir zone are significantly reduced and eutectic Si and SiC are uniformly distributed therein.
